The Woodcutter Story

The Woodcutter Story by Mikko Myllylahti was nominated for Critics' Week Grand Prize and Golden Camera awards at Cannes Film Festival 2022. It is a story about Pepe, who is a warmhearted woodcutter, who believes in better tomorrow. In a short time Pepe loses his wife, house and his best friend, but he seems to take it in as it comes. Dry humor, absurd twists and mystical scenes lead the story of finding truth about oneself.
