Finland increased its annual budget for AV Production Incentives by 7.5 million euros in June, and its online application portal is again open for domestic and international applicants.
Business Finland’s production incentive budget now totals 17 million euros for 2022 and builds on the 25% rebates offered to foreign productions shooting in Finnish locations or making pre- or post-production in Finland.
Applications are welcomed from makers of feature films, documentaries, animations and serial fiction. With the available regional incentives international productions can top their total incentive percentage up to 40%.
